For those with little experience just open pc having removed power supply and look at motherboard for vacant slot, it’s like a key so pretty obvious how this fits. I found it very easy to fit but i would so having built my own pc. So ethernet cabled was no longer feesible and wifi was my only option and thought get good quality. Got this as had continuel internet drops so router had to be sited in the hall miles away from my media centre. Card is well recommended, i didn’t even had to connect external antennas. Connected to the computer and 200mbps straight away, in the same spot. Decided to send the card back and get this asus, which is similarly priced. Initially purchased tp-link archer ac1900 card based on countless good reviews on amazon, but after connecting were only getting between 80-120mbps (200mbps virgin media). I have recently moved my computer away from the router and had to use wifi to connect to internet. Its not cheap but ive always beleaved in you get what you pay for and the build quality doesnt disappoint, also the range is crazy, i could only detect my own and next doors wifi on my netgear adaptor, this asus adaptor is picking up 7-8 different sources with out breaking a sweat so if you pc is located in a poor wifi signal location then this is the card for you. All i can say is it lives up to expectation, this card is no joke, the signal has stayed constantly at full reception, no drop outs or anything, webpages and vids load almost instantly with no delay or buffering which i was getting before. 'Name solution for the name was timed out after none of the configured DNS-servers responded.I purchased this model as my netgear usb wifi adaptor has served me well but i kept having issues with it occasionally having a week signal so i decided to bight the bullet and purchase this adator. In the event log I get this error message. I'm on windows 7 now and using the newest driver for the AC68 with european SKRU.

I even got my PCE-AC68 replaced with a new one from the retailer yet the problems with the BSODs persisted.

I suspect these problems are very much related. After I downgraded back to windows 7 I've been getting these timeouts and losing connections for a few seconds intermittently. I had a long time of issues with my PCE-AC68 on Windows 10.
